No manuscript review 25th September - Summer Social

It's an author's prerogative to be late - just ask George R.R. Martin when his latest book will be out...

In any case this week is our summer social - just before October hits.

So no formal manuscript review - just food and drink! Contact our social team for details.

Normal service will resume next week...

The team responsible for the St Albans Literary Festival are running a drabble competition as part of that event.

It is free to enter, has to have some link to St Albans and has a closing date of 31st October.

*As lately we have been a little overwhelmed by the number of manuscripts for review each week (which is great!) we will be trying to keep things moving quickly on the night.

Depending upon the number of manuscripts on the night we will either:

- be looking for volunteers to skip a week so that we can focus on 4 or 5 manuscripts.

or

- restrict wordcount to 1200 and critiques to 2 or 3 points

Again please bear with us as we experiment with the best format that allows everyone to get the most out of the evening.
