Watling Street Writers is a writers' circle for amateur and experienced writers. New members are always welcome. If you are a writer from in or around St Albans and would like to meet other writers, get support and honest critiques on your work and improve your skills, then please join us. The group meets every Thursday for manuscript readings/reviews and writing workshops.

Meetings are usually at the White Hart Hotel . We occasionally host external speakers. Please refer to our Programme for full details.

As usual we will be meeting in the White Hart Hotel.

We'll be there from 7.30 p.m onwards.

Look for us in the quietest corner of the bar we can find or upstairs with the skeleton.

Usual format: Drinks, gossip and the occasional manuscript review.

For those with work to review we will aim to start reading out before 8 p.m and finish by 10 p.m. Hope to see you there!
